  • Pouring Bleach or vinegar in Drain. Bleach = twice a year or Vinegar = Every month and make sure to back up with hot TAP water not boiling.
  • Changing filter at least once a month
  • Keeping outside condenser coil cleaned and rinsed about twice a year.
  • Changing batteries in Thermostat if need be (Some wirings don't require batteries)

Keep up the maintenance on your unit and your system should live up to its expected lifespan. Of course as your unit gets older the parts on it do start to wear, and things happen. Which is why you call McClure's Comfort Zone if anything needs Repair.

Many Types of Systems to Choose from!

Straight Cool Systems

Straight Cool systems are just as you'd imagine. They are equipped with a set of heating coils that act as your Heat side of your System. While less expensive up-front, there is a noticeable difference in your power bill in the winter compared to a Heat Pump or Gas Furnace.

Heat Pumps & Gas Furnaces

Heat Pump systems are great energy efficient when it comes to heating, and the system comes with same heat strips a Straight Cool would have. If you like a low power bill, and don't mind the extra cost up front then a Heat pump is perfect for you. Then there's the Gas Furnace, Which is one of the MOST efficient systems when it comes to pure heating capabilities. It uses natural or Propane gas for heat.

You can also have both systems together called a Dual Fuel Hybrid System.

Ductless Systems

Ductless Systems are perfect for getting an area conditioned where your normal A/C unit can't reach. Whether is a garage, small room, or an office, it doesn't matter. These systems are excellent and don't drive much on your power bill.

Package and Rooftop Split-Systems

Package units are the Go-to when it comes to Air Conditioning in commercial buildings. These units are mostly on roofs of restaurants, office buildings, gyms, and fast food places. They don't take up any interior space (other than the duct work) and they can move a lot more air. With a Package unit are great because everything is all-in-one.

Maybe you don't want a package unit and want a regular split-System on the roof. If there aren't any issues regarding the installation then McClure's will happily get it done.
